Hershey Rotary Charitable Contributions
The Rotary motto Service Above Self conveys the humanitarian spirit of the organization’s more than 1.2 million members. Strong fellowship among Rotarians and meaningful community and international service projects characterize Rotary worldwide.
The Hershey Rotary Club holds central these values when determining criteria for charitable contributions. They must be:
- For organizations (not individuals) focused on charitable causes that do not conflict with Rotary values;
- For a cause that supports and improves the community;
- For a cause that provides comfort and assistance for organizations striving to provide the same, within the community or globally; and
- For a cause that helps improve the lives of those that can’t provide for themselves.
Each grant request will be considered, and while it is not possible for each request to be granted, the Club will strive to meet as many needs as possible.
